Palma will reach the gastro cutting edge with Tapalma 2023
1 February, 2023The most important gastronomic event in the Balearic Islands, Tapalma, aims to position Mallorca, and very specifically its capital, as a hub of Spanish gastronomy, as well as energising the city through its restaurants and small businesses.
TaPalma is the benchmark gastro event in the Balearic Islands and brings together the best chefs and mixologists on the island in November, thus giving a boost to local gastronomy and helping to ‘de-seasonalise’ the tourist season. In 2022, 46 establishments participated and the winner was, for the second year running, the restaurant ‘Rosa del Mar’ whose chef Tito Verge, triumphed with his creation ‘Pulguita de Otoño’.
This gastro event has two parts: first the tapas and cocktails contest, which is held in the Illes Balears Auditorium of the Palau de Congressos de Palma, before 2000 people and, two days later, the tapas and cocktails route which takes place in different establishments in Palma.
