The event rooms of the Riu Plaza España are already in the Metaverse
29 March, 2023After presenting the Riu Plaza España hotel in June with a faithful reproduction of all the lobby’s heritage elements, the spectacular terrace with its 360º views of Madrid and the presidential suite, now the hotel chain has created the digital twin of the hotels’ most iconic meeting rooms. It has also recreated different configurations so that visitors can see setups for all kinds of events.
The chain has recreated the third floor of the building in the metaverse with its five rooms: one with a large U-shaped table perfect for hosting meetings, another with a school-type configuration with rectangular tables in front of a large stage, another with a theatre setup that has chairs in front of a screen. One configured cabaret type with a main stage and one equipped with an imperial table and a large screen.
The fourth floor of the hotel has also been reproduced with rooms Madrid 1, with rectangular tables accompanied by a stage and a screen, Madrid 2-3, configured in a cabaret format, and Madrid 4-5, the only room configured as a type of cocktail bar with bar tables and tall stools and also small rest areas with sofas.
