The Prado Museum, one of the most iconic museums in Spain, is one of the Top 10 most highly rated museums in the world by visitors, according to a study by Iglu Cruise, which places it close to other important museums, such as the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, the Musée d’Orsay in Paris and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, among others.

Specifically, the Prado Museum is in sixth place in the world ranking, just after the National Gallery in London, and before the Victoria and Albert Museum, also located in the British capital, in a list in which the Louvre in Paris is in tenth place in the ranking.
