EasyJet to link UK to 5 Spanish cities next winter
10 July, 2024The airline easyJet has announced the addition of 60 new routes to its worldwide network for the winter season, nine of them to Spain, specifically to the airports of Barcelona, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Alicante and Madrid, from the UK, France, Italy and Austria.
“We are excited to announce 9 new routes for the winter season in Spain, a strategic market in which we have been growing over time,” said Javier Gándara, easyJet’s Managing Director of Southern Europe, as he unveiled the new routes to the Canary Islands.
Specifically, connections between the UK and Spain are established between Belfast, Glasgow and Liverpool, with Fuerteventura airport, with two weekly frequencies except in the case of Liverpool. And also between Glasgow and Lanzarote, with two weekly frequencies.
