One Spanish destination in Lonely Planet's Top30 worldwide
13 November, 2024The book “Best in Travel in 2025” published by Lonely Planet has included Palma de Mallorca in the category of the best cities in the world to visit in 2025. In total, 30 destinations around the world have been selected (in the categories “Cities”, “Regions” and “Countries”). The Balearic capital is the only destination in Spain to be recognised on the prestigious list.
As the cited editorial explains, “Lonely Planet’s authors, editors and contributors have brought all their experience together in this book to reveal the destinations, trends and travel routes that will dominate the travel scene in 2025, to help you decide on your next adventure”.
For the deputy mayor for Tourism, Culture and Sports of Palma City Council, Javier Bonet, “this recognition encourages us to continue working along the same lines: to consolidate Palma as an urban, cosmopolitan and sustainable destination 365 days a year”.
