Santiago’s Palacio de Congresos reopens after refurbishment
13 November, 2024Santiago’s Palacio de Congresos is back in operation and has already hosted its first event after the refurbishment that has kept it closed for several months. The project needed an investment of three million euros for the roofs, plus the same amount for the interior spaces.
The improvement works inside the Palacio, managed by Hotusa, include the installation of a new kitchen and the modernisation of essential services, such as simultaneous translation, essential for holding international events.
This project is part of the municipal strategy to guarantee the sustainable development of essential infrastructures in the city, allowing the Palacio to once again host events and congresses that will boost Santiago de Compostela’s economy.
