An iconic building in Cantabria will become a luxury hotel
18 December, 2024The Bet Capital Group company has bought the iconic Casa del Corro in Comillas (Cantabria) for €1.5 million, a late 17th century building that will soon be transformed into a luxury boutique hotel.
The Casa del Corro is located in the Plaza del Corro de San Pedro, in the historic centre of the Villa de los Arzobispos, and its architecture includes a dressed stone façade, a large eave, a heraldic coat of arms flanked by lions and a wrought iron balcony.
The conversion project envisages the creation of a boutique hotel with 20 rooms. The design will combine contemporary elements with the preservation of historical details, respecting its architectural legacy and ensuring its integration into the urban landscape of Comillas.
