Two hotels on the Catalan coast repositioned by Prestige
5 February, 2025The Prestige Hotels chain has taken a strategic step by regaining ownership of two of its hotels and sealing alliances with investors that will allow it to grow under management models. Following the sale of the Hotel Prestige Sant Marc and the leaseback agreement, the company has allocated around €15 million to buy and renovate the hotels Prestige Mar y Sol and the Prestige Goya Park in Roses (Girona).
This operation, which involves the reincorporation of two hotels into the Prestige Hotels portfolio, “marks the beginning of a new stage of sustainable growth and brand repositioning,”. The sale & lease back operation of the Hotel Prestige Sant Marc, after a repositioning from 3 to 4 stars that boosted the rate increase by 40% between 2019 and 2024, “has allowed us to purchase the other two hotels, which were owned by the Blackstone fund”.

The total investment in the Prestige Mar y Sol and the Prestige Goya Park is around €15 million between purchase and capex.
