The leisure park revived with hotels on the Costa del Sol

5 March, 2025

Benalmádena (Costa del Sol) Town Council and the Tremón Group, owner of Tívoli World, have signed an agreement that unlocks the situation of the leisure park and allows its transformation to begin. The project expands the park’s surface area and includes the construction of two hotels. The estimated investment ranges from €100 - €200 million but the opening date is still unknown.

The project aims to “modernise the park with a special theme”, according to Andrés Gilabert, CEO of the property group. In addition, a hotel complex with at least 200 rooms will be built, divided between a themed establishment and a 4-star hotel, as well as a shopping centre with major retailers.

The developer maintains that this agreement makes the reopening of Tívoli economically viable, as the incorporation of a shopping centre and a hotel complex will allow for more visitors and for the park to be open all year round.
